If you currently have electronically published content you would like to make available over the Internet, for paid or free subscription managed access, you may wish to take a look at our SDSS Subscription Server service. We currently support subscription management services for a wide variety of content, such as Folio Views Infobases, NextPage LivePublish and NXT3, dtSearch Indexes as well as any web-based content or application protected by Authentix.

What is ePublishing?

"Electronic Publishing" or "e-publishing" or simply "ePublishing" is the process of publishing information to be viewed electronically or online. Such information, in today's technology environment, is delivered via Electronic Books or "eBooks", CD-ROM or over the World Wide Web.

When you think about it, any time someone creates a web site, no matter the content, that person is engaged in ePublishing. So let's narrow our definition a little: ePublishing, for our purposes, is the process making available electronic access to documents or publications. Falling into this category: Newspapers, magazines, journals, newsletters, books, directories, manuals, regulations, policies and procedures, legal papers and decisions, etc...

This is a very large field of interest, and we cannot possibly define all the important issues in a few paragraphs. To assist you in your understanding of ePublishing, we have provided a number of education and resource links below.

Why do you need us?

If, you might well ask, ePublishing is as simple as converting your documents to web pages, and you already have a web site or know how to do web site development, why do you need us? Well, if you want to develop your documents as simple web pages on your own, you don't need us.

If, on the other hand, you'd like to add some robust searching capabilities to your documents as well as the ability to maintain them for publication both online and via the desktop (CD-ROM), then we just might have some experience and skill sets you can utilize. We have a great deal of experience developing eBooks for the Microsoft Reader LIT, OEB and XML formats. Not to mention our ability to eCommerce enable your content as well.
